This concentration prepares you to seek the Illinois Gateways to Opportunity Early Care and Education (ECE) Credential, Levels 2-5, and the Illinois Director (IDC) Credential, Level 3, through the Entitled Route.
Complete a project that builds awareness around a pressing issue, based on your professional and personal interests and needs, within the early childhood landscape.
Depending on your goals, choose from a 20-month or 2 year program.
You’ll take five core courses in early childhood development and learning, as well as a specialized sequence of five courses focused on early childhood leadership, management, and advocacy.
