This concentration prepares you to seek the Illinois Gateways to Opportunity Early Care and Education (ECE) Credential, Levels 2-5, through the Entitled Route.
Complete an inquiry project implementing an SEL program or a self-designed combination of strategies for a short-term period of 6 to 8 weeks.
Depending on your goals, choose from a 20-month or 3 year program.
You’ll take five core courses in child development, as well as a specialized sequence of five courses focused on the understanding and application of social and emotional learning and practice skills.
