Graduate Education

Join the next generation of leaders in child development, social work, and early childhood education with an Erikson Institute degree.

Pursuing your graduate studies at Erikson prepares you for your career.

The work that you’ve chosen – ensuring that all children, youth and their families have equitable opportunities to realize their potential – is not easy, and it couldn’t be more important. So we invite you to choose an education that’s equal to the task.

We offer a comprehensive, interdisciplinary understanding of children and families available through classes at our downtown campus and online.

We invite applications from all prospective students regardless of financial need, citizenship, or immigration/documentation status and are committed to supporting Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA).

Erikson degrees and certificates often allow you to earn additional credentials or endorsements to help demonstrate your expertise and expand your earning potential. The path to earn these credentials is often simplified and more direct due to Erikson’s academic rigor and well-rounded curriculum. Pursuing credentials varies by degree program and concentration. The Illinois State Board of Education and Illinois Gateways to Opportunity are just two of the organizations granting these optional enhancements. The requirements, application process, timing and related costs may vary. Please refer to degree program for available options.
