Elizabeth Stolenberg

Part-time Faculty

Elizabeth Stoltenberg is a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Illinois and holds an MS in child development from Erikson Institute and an MSW from Loyola University Chicago. In addition, she is a Child-Parent Psychotherapy rostered clinician, a registered Circle of Security-Parenting facilitator, and has a basic certification in DIRFloortime. Since 2016, Elizabeth has worked with children and families in both inpatient and outpatient clinical settings, including Erikson’s Center for Children and Families where she was a clinical supervisor. Currently, she works in private practice with individuals, couples, children, and families. Elizabeth has worked with children and families in a variety of settings since 2007. Elizabeth has a BA in English and a BA in Theater from the University of Maryland, College Park. Before she became a social worker and therapist, Elizabeth coordinated services for children with disabilities in the educational programs and professional theater at Imagination Stage in the Washington, DC area. She has also taught classes in creative drama, voice for the actor, Shakespeare, and playwriting to young people in recreational and educational settings. Elizabeth recently completed a children’s yoga teacher training and is looking forward to bringing some of what she has learned to her work with clients.
