A Statement From Erikson’s Board of Trustees

Erikson announces Geoffrey A. Nagle, President and CEO, will step down in February 2021

Erikson Institute’s Board of Trustees announced today that Geoffrey A. Nagle, PhD, MSW, MPH will conclude his service as President and CEO of Erikson Institute on February 6, 2021. Dr. Nagle became the President & Chief Executive Officer of Erikson on January 1, 2014.

Under Dr. Nagle’s leadership, Erikson developed two comprehensive strategic plans, increased enrollment, expanded clinical services—including mental health care for children under the age of five and their families—and created a Policy & Leadership practice to influence decisions that benefit the lives of young children and families.

Upon Dr. Nagle’s departure, Patricia Lawson, Erikson’s Vice President for Finance & Operations and Chief Financial Officer, will  serve as Interim President of Erikson Institute. The Board of Trustees will shortly launch a national search for a new President and CEO.
